* Happiness * Lucky * Fortune *

Hello everyone... I am back with my project for Craftin Desert Divas's Blog today.  I am so fasinated by this Unquie stamp Dragon Festival that my friend Mindy designed for November Release.  As being a Thai/Chinese I find this set will be my most used set for Chinese New Year.  But it's not just limited to Chinese New Year it also can be used for Birthday and Well Wishes for my Chinese friends all over the world...   Well let just jump right into my today project shall we :)

Here is what I made for you
In stead of making a card I decided to do a decorative panels to display using the beautiful and elegant dragon from Dragon Festival stamp.

And here are the closer look

And Here's how I made it
I began by cutting red card stock at 3 and 1/4 inches by 5 and 1/2 inches for 3 pieces and thin red construction paper slightly less and 1/2 inch by 4 and 1/2 inches for 2 pieces for the hinge....  The size of the panels can be varies depend on how big of the window die you are using.  You just have to add a little of the space for both sizes to attach the hinge

I used the small scalloped rectangle from Fancy Frame Dies for the openning windows and one of the decorative edge die from Shaker Tag Dies to make the legs.

After cutting those 3 panels I attached them with the construction paper hinges and began to embossed the small lantern all over the panels with white embossing power.

I then cut 3 pieces of vellum paper a bit bigger than the window and embossed the dragon with gold embossing powder.  Since I wanted the dragon to be at both panels so the dragon will be longer than the original stamp size.  I then embossed the sentiment "Wishing You" from Wishful Thoughts stamp set at the 1st panel and also embossed the sentiment "Happy New Year" from the Dragon Festival set at the middle panel.

For the third panel, I used the small circle die also from the Shaker Tag Dies and embossed with white embossing powder with those 3 Chinese Prosperity Words.. "Happiness, Lucky and Fortune",

Last thing I did was fold each panel at mountain and valley fold and it's all done!   I hope you like my little project and Thank you for stopping by today.

Cheering For You

Hello there my crafty friends... It's been awhile since I was on Craftin Desert Divas Blog and I am so very happy to be back here again to share with you my project.

Here is what I have for you
I had in mind to make this fun card using the adorable dragons from Dragon Festival and made them be Stilt Walkers racing on the bamboo sticks *lol*

I began by using the largest of Inside Scalloped Square Dies on white card stock and blue glitter paper.  I then stamped on seperate white card stock the dragons from Dragon Festival stamp 3 times and colored them with copic markers.  For the bamboo sticks I used the bamboo stamp from Panda Pals stamp set and stamped it on top of each other to make it longer.  After I colored them all with copic markers I then fuzzy cut them all out and began to position them on my white card front.

Here is the closer look

I only attached down 2 dragons (pink and blue) first so that I could built and stamped my sentiment and estimated where should I placed my last dragon.  The sentiment I made by using the Elegant Brush Script (Love this set so much)

And here is the closer look

After placing my last dragon down, it's ready to be inlaided to the blue glitter Inside Scalloped Square Frame and then onto my red card base.  And it's done!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I hope you like it.  Have a Wonderful day my friends.

Snow Flight Winter Wishes

Hello everyone..
I am so glad to be back here for Craftin Desert Divas' blog today to share my fun project using Santa's Helpers stamp and Enchanted Wishes Stamp.

Here is what I made
I had a giggle when I got this idea from my son :) He suggested to do a snow flight card.. *lol*  I immediatly pulled my oldie but goodie Enchanted Wishes stamp for the snowman image and the adorable penguin from Santa's Helpers stamp and let them have a snow flight!..

First I positioned the single snowball from Santa's Helpers stamp on the right of my panel as I planed to make the snowman holding onto the snow ball.  I then masked the snowball off with masking tape and stamped the snowman from Enchanted Wishes stamp and made sure that his right hand was on the snowball.  I did the same concept for the penguin.  I then stamped the single snowball in the mid of the air in between them and pile of snowballs infront each of them.  I also used the sentiment "Winter Wishes" from Santa's Helpers stamp.

I colored all images with copic markers and did some clouds stencil for the sky.  I used Picture Frame dies to cut of my main panel and attached it to my red cardbase.  And it's done!

Here's the closer look
I hope you like it and Thank you for stopping by today.

Winter Wishes

Hello everyone! I am so happy to be on Craftin Desert Divas's blog today sharing my project I created by using Winter Bliss stamp set.

And here is what I made
I started by stamping the deer from Winter Bliss stamp at the bottom right corner as well as the sentiment from Santa's Helpers stamp beside the deer.  I then drawn the vertical lines with pencil for the idea where to put my ornaments and snow flakes which also from Winter Bliss stamp.

After I stamped and happy with the placement of the ornaments and snow flakes I began to color all the images with copic markers.  I used metalic silver pen to draw the lines for the ornaments and snow flakes and used white gel pen to give the deer white dot pattern at the back and forehead.

I cut the panel using Fancy Frame Dies and attached it on thin layering silver paper and then to the black card base.

I finished my card by sprinkle Shimmer Sequins here and there.

I hope you like it and Thank you for stopping by today.

I then masked everything off and used color dusters to create the background.  I colored all images with copic markers and used Fancy Frame Dies to make my front panel.

Here's the closer look

Project # 2 : Shake It Up Dies
I made the easel card using partial die cut technique

Here's the closer look
This Shake It Up dies are so much fun to create the adorable gumball machine and snow globe.  I stamped a bunch of snow balls from Santa's Helper stamp set inside the circle and colored them as if they're multi colors gumballs with copic markers.  The top sentiment I used is from Tiny Sentiments stamp and inside card sentiment is from Simply Said stamp.  The pattern paper I used is Doodlebug Gingham-Linen Rainbow Petite Prints paper pad

Project # 3 All 4 Mini Stamps : Camping Critters, Feathered Friends, In The Wild and Rockin Reptilians
I had so much fun creating this planner page using all 4 mini stamps (Camping Critters, Feathered Friends, In The Wild and Rockin Reptilians) and played more with my washi tapes.  I used Celebration Banner,  Honeycomb and Festival Of Trees.  I also used the banner dies from Plan It Dies and the balloon dies from Party Dies to make my balloon animals.

Project # 4 Christmas Cheer
I love this peeking reindeer so much so I have to do a peekaboo card.  And the Picture Frame dies are just the perfect dies for this project.  To make it more festive feel I decided to used the pattern paper Doodlebug Gingham-Linen Rainbow Petite Prints paper pad  and I love it.  To finish it off I sprinkled our latest sequins mixed Holly Jolly here and there.

Till Death Do Us Part!

Hi.. I am so glad to be on Craftin Desert Divas' Blog to share with you my project today using Sugar Skull Amor stamp set

Here is what I created
I often do one layer card simply because I love to create a scene card.

Eventhough Im not really celebrate Halloween or Day of the Dead here (only for kids to have fun for trick or treat with my friends' kids) but I do have quite a number of friends who celebrate these festivals.

I began by stampping my main girl image from Sugar Skull Amore stamp and created the cluster of roses surrounded the skull and candle using masking technique.  I was curious and asked my DT sister Mindy what is the small rectangle image? So she told me it's a banner so I decided to incorperated it into the card to make it more colorful.

I colored all the images using copic markers and cut off the panel by using Picture Frame dies then attached it to my black card base.

Here are the closer look

To finish it off I spinkled Shimmer Sequins here and there.  I hope you like my card and Thank you for stopping by today.

Happy Halloween Interactive card

Hello there crafty friends...

Im on Craftin Desert Divas Blog today sharing with you my little project interactive card using Autumn Days and Sugar Skull Amor stamps.

Here is what I created
I first stamped the trio pumpkins from Autumn Days stamp and masked off the bottom part so that I could create the ground with the twigs for the pumpkins to stay on.  I also stamped the pumpkin with leaves at another side of the card.  I wanted it to be interative card so I stamped the trio pumpkin again but only colored the top one and fussy cut it out as well as the skull from Sugar Skull Amor.

Here is the closer look
I took some photos along the way when I created this project and I included them here

After I colored the images with copic markers I cut the panel with Picture Frame dies and prepared my interactive elements as shown above.  I also pucked holes at the middle pumpkin eyes for my LED light.

I provided the space for my magnetic strip using double layers of form tapes.

This is after I run the copper tape to the battery.  I made sure that my form tape aroun the battery were a bit higher the height of the battery itself.

I then put form tapes all over even on the copper tape.  I also put the stopper at the end of the track.  I peeled off all the form tapes backing except the stopper that I put red circle on.  Before I put another piece of card stock to close it up, I put the magnet strip on the track and made sure that the battery is facing down.  If I ever do this type of card again I'll use a thicker paper for the pulling machanism for more durability.

And the back panel was ready to be sealed.

And here is the finished card front after attached on the black card base.
I also sprinkled Fall Harvest sequins here and there to finish off my card.

I made a short YouTube vdo showing the card in action. I hope you like it and Thank you for stopping by today.  Have a Wonderful day my friends!
