Just a Note!

Good day to you all my crafty friends....

Stopping by to share my project with you guys today...
And I am also entering this card for
1)  CAS-ual Fridays CFC170 theme - No Dies Allowed

http://cas-ualfridays.blogspot.sg/

2) Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Blog Challenge - Anything Goes

Here is what I made

I love doing one layer card and I often use Frame dies to give my card some decoration at the edges...  So I got that idea to made imitate decorative edge die cut for my card by doodling it :)

Here is the closer look

After I drawn the scalloped edge with pencil and traced it with copic multi liner, I then stamped the flowers from Sping Flowers stamp from Simon Says Stamp.  I did a little bit of masking to have those 2 flowers overlapping each other.

I colored all the images with copic markers and used cool grey markers around those imitated scalloped edge for showdoing and dimension. I stamped the sentiment at the bottom right of my panel and attached my main panel onto black card base.  And it's done!

I hope you like it and Thank you for stopping by today.

Jan

Day 30 of The Daily Marker 30 days Coloring Challenge March 2017

It's a beautiful day and today is the last day of my favorite challenge....

Hi...

Im super excited as well as sad that today is the last day of the faboulous 30days daily marker challenge.  I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to Kathy Rac from the daily marker for hosting this amazing challenge.  I've met so many sweet and talented crafty friends and they're so dear to me.  Who will understand the crafter only the crafters themselves, right?

Here is for you Kathy

I am enjoy every single moment of everyday that I did my practice coloring...  I am sad yes but not long because I know that there will be the next one :)

I used the hibiscus flower and leaves stamps from Craftin Desert Divas called Botanical Layers stamp.  I used the outline images and filled in those with copic markers and finished up the details with Polychomos color pencils.

After I colored I cut my panel with Fancy Frame dies and also used the word "Thanks" from Greeting Words dies and cut directly onto the image for the hiddend sentiment.  I also cut the word Thanks from white card stock and stacked them up for dimension.

The sentiment "Just for you" stamp that I used is from Simply Said stamp and I did spelled Kathy name using Elegant Brush Script stamp.  All products that I used for this card is from Craftin Desert Divas and I love CDD products

I did missed 2 days for the challenge, one was on my daughter's birthday (Mar 11) and I was totally knocked off on Mar 27.. *lol*  And here they are all

And again Kathy... Thank you so very much.  Hope you guys like all of them or not some :) Have a beautiful day.

Hugs,
Jan

Lucky

Good day to you all my crafty friends.

Sharing with you my card I made for my friend Birthday today using The Ton stamp - Wild Morning Glories.  I also entering this card for The Ton March Challenge.  The clue word is Lucky.

And here is what I made

I debated myself should I go for light or dark colors but as you can see the dark colors win :)

I began to stamp the solid stamp of the large Morning Glory first and did some masking to stamp the solid stamp of the smaller one and the leaves.  I used Memento inks for that and MISTI is in great help.

I then stamped the outline of each images with black Memento ink.  I didn't use the hi light shapes stamps of each images because I wanted to fill in those with color pencils.

I used colorpencils for details and shading... I know it's quite hard to see on the photo due to dark colors of the flowers but it's there...

Here is the closer look

Thank you for stopping by today and I wish you all a Wonderful day!

Blessed

Good Day to you my crafty friends...

I am so happy to be back on Craftin Desert Divas' Blog today.

After coloring so many cutie images, I think it's good time to revisit my old but still in love stamp "Botanical Layers" stamp

I love this stamp so much that I colored them many times and everytime I fall in love with it again and again...  In fact it's a layering stamp but it's not limited to only just doing ink layering.   So today my card I only used 1 single outline imge to create my main focal point.

Here's what I made

I stamped the outline stamp of Lily flower from Botanical Layers stamp 3 times onto white cardstock and began to color them with purple tone copic markers and fussy cut them out... The reason I chose purple because it's complimentary color for yellow which is my background pattern paper from Doodlebug Bunnyville Paper Pad.

I also diecut the window frame from Window Pane dies, 1 from grey texture card stock and another 3 from white card stock.  I glued them all together for the dimension and it looks like chipboard.

I don't want to used form tape or white fun form for this case because it won't look finished to me at all sides both inner and outside edges.

After I attached down the window frame to the pattern papper, I then attached them to white cardbase and begand to arrange the flowers position.

I felt that the flowers need some stems so I handrawn them and attached behind the flowers.

There so many stamp sentiments that could fit perfectly onto those windows openning but I chose to go for simple like word die cut sentiment and I cut the word Blessed from Greeting Word Dies from gold glister peper and attached it at the top left corner.  And believe it or not it's done!

Thank you so much for stopping by today and I wish you all a Wonderful day.

Bean Thinking About You

Good Day to you all...

http://coffeelovingcardmakers.com/2017/03/2017-spring-coffee-lovers-blog-hop/

Im back with my 2nd project for 2017 Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop using Craftin Desert Divas latest Coffee Theme digital stamps - Coffee Shop and Daily Grind digital stamps.  Here is what I made.

I used the cute little girl and her coffee mug from Coffee Shop digital stamp and combined with the Coffee Grider machine from Daily Grind digital stamp.  I used Microsoft Powerpoint to arrange the images and the sentiment then saved it to Microsoft Words and printed it out onto my white cardstock.

I handrawn the cabinet counter for the coffee ginder machine to stand on as well as the floor and the wall as if they were the light grey tiles for the floor and light blue wall paper for the wall...

All images were colored with copic marker.  I then cut the panel using Picture Frame die and stamped the sentiment using Got Coffee stamp.  Both are from Crafting Desert Divas.

Here is how it looked before colored on MS Word

Hello everyone...

Here is what I made

I love this lovely date couple.  So I set the scene for outdoor coffee date using the digital stamps from Craftin Desert Divas called Coffee Date digital stamp and I also used the coffee shop blackboard from Coffee Shop digital stamp.  I used Microsoft Powerpoint to arrange the images and the sentiment then saved it to Microsoft Words and printed it out onto my white cardstock.

I colored them with copic marker and cut out the panel with Inside Scalloped Square dies from Craftin Desert Divas.  Used distress inks to blend my background scene and attached all onto light blue cardbase.

Smile On Your Face

Hello guys..

I am here today sharing with you my 2nd project for Craftin Desert Divas Moodboard Monthly Social Media Challenge #CDDMONTHLY

Here is the moodboard theme

Click here to join us at Facebook CDD Gallery

And here is what I made

I began by cutting white card stock from Picture Frame Dies and cut the Inside Scalloped Circle dies (2nd to the largest) at the center and cut at the same panel.  I put aside the negative circle and left the scalloped circle intact with the main panel.  I then began to used distress inks around it.  Colors were inspired by the moodboard.

I then stamped this adorable bunny sheep from Bunny Trail stamp at the center of the negative circle and colored her with copic markers.  The sentiment I used is from Special Delivery stamp.

I put my main panel onto black card based and the inlaid the white inner circle back to the inside scalloped circle.  I then sprinkled Pastel Paradise sequins all over my card front with Multi Medium Matte as my adhesive.

Thank you for stopping by today and I wish you all a faboulous day.
