Double Pull Sliders Card

Hello Everyone... Im so happy to be on Craftn Desert Divas blog with you today.  This week we are featuring the Theme of Fun Interactive card and here is my take ;)
"Double Pull Sliders Card"

I was inspired by my previous project for Seasonal Fairies stamp that I created 4 seasons tags and I think will be good idea to have fun with those sweet fairies for the interactive card.

Here is my YouTube vdo showing how I created this Double Pull Sliders Card

Here is how it look when all tabs closed.

I stamped the sentiment from Seasonal Fairies stamp along with the adorable bees and cut it with Stitched In Circle dies for the main panel as well as the rainbow layering circle.

Here is individual panels for each season.

I cut all tags using tag topper from Shaker Tag dies and decorated each of them differently based on each season.  For Summer fairy, I used Island dies.  For Winter and Autumn fairies, I used Fall Border dies.  Lastly Spring fairy, I used Flower Border dies.  Sentiments "happy", PEACE" and "LOVE" are from Happy Sentiments stamp and Grateful word is from Simply Said stamp.

For ink background panels, I used all distress oxide inks.

Spring, I used squeezed lemonade and worn lipstick
Winter, I used mermaid lagoon and blue print sketch
Summer, I used salty ocean and cracked pistachio and
Autumn, I used spiced marmalade and vintage photo

Here is the layout that you can follow to created 3 and a half square card like what I did or I have a bonus layout for you if you want to do bigger card 5 and a half square card.

For 5 and a half square card, you just need to extend another panel to make it longer.

Here is the closer look one more time.

I hope you like it and give it a try.
Thank You for stopping by today.

Hugs,
Jan

*** Here are my cards for Featuring for Day 1
Let's Do Lunch stamp, Flower Border dies and Blooming Tree stencil

I traced the Blooming Tree stencil and colored all image and scene with copic markers.  I did abit of masking technique with the apple image and the basket.  I also used Crazy Stitched Frame dies for decorative edges

Next card is featuring Blooming Tree stencil.  I went crazy with all those masking and distress oxide ink.

I used Nuvo Glimmer Paste with Blooming Tree stencil for the clear tree but since it's translucent the background inks shown thru. And I mixed the paste with blue reinker to make the blue tree card.  The last one I did heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

*** Day 2 we had Seasonal Fairies stamp, Tag It dies and Bright Horizon stencil

I created the longer tags using Tag It die with partial die cutting technique.  I colored all the images with copic markers and fussy cut them out.

I inked up with distress oxide inks each and individual tag to represent 4 seasons.  Winter background with the winter fairies and decorated the bottom part with Fall Border dies.  Spring background, I used Flower Border dies.  Summer background, I used Island dies to decorate at the bottom part.  Lastly Autumn background, I used the tree  border dies from Fall Boarder die.

Next card is showcasing Bright Horizon stencil

This one is quite straight forward using distress oxide inks.  They're quite easy to blend to each others.

*** Day 3, we showcased 2 stamps - Bee Cakery and Just Married stamps

I used the adorable bees from Bee Cakery and pretended that they're celebrating at the cloud garden.  I used Flower Border dies for cloud garden and Stitched Scalloped dies for puffy clouds.

Next card featured Just Married stamp.

The newly wedded mice couple from Just Married stamp are absolutely adorable. I set home scene using Living Room Accessories digital stamp.  I colored them with Copic Markers.

*** Day 4, we have Flower Kisses stamp for you.

I created single layer card with inlay die cut technique to showcase the inside/outside stitched details from Tag It dies at the sentiment frame.  For the mouse image, I used Inside Scalloped Square die.  I colored the mouse with copic marker.
I also used Crazy Stitched Frame dies for decorative edges on my main panel.

*** And Today Day 5, We have Hitched

On water color paper, I stamped and masked off the lovely newly wedded couple from Hitched and placed the Bright Horizon stencil to create sun rise/sun set background with distress oxide inks.

For the sea, the sun reflection on the sea and the main image itself, I used copic markers to color as well as the red dirt road and sand.

I must say colored on  watercolor paper with copic make the blending a bit easier but boy it soaked up more ink comparing to regular card stock.  The reason I used water color paper because I wanted the texture of the paper on the background and scene.

I hope you enjoy all my collection so far.  Thank you for reading up to this far and I wish you a beautiful days...  Enjoy your shopping.

Hugs,
Jan

Counting Down The Day - Embossing With Stencil

Hello Divas...

Im so glad to be on Craftin Desert Divas blog today sharing with you how I did heat embossing technique with stencil using Sorted Shapes 2 stencil along with the adorable moody lamp from Crabby Critters stamp.

Here is what I made for you.

Here is how I prepared my card.

As always, I like to cut my panel with Crazy Stitched Frame dies to determine where I can put my images of in this case my stencil.  I like the idea of using it to frame my image.

I used Powder Tool Applicator all over my card front to reduce the embossing powder to stick on the places that I don't want rather than the inked area.  I covered all 4 sides around the stencil and applied Versamark Ink to the stencil. I used gold embossing powder and heated it with the heat gun.

I wanted to show my wonky stitch frame edges so I covered all 4 edges with some washi tapes as well as my center white area.  I used 4 distress oxide inks in squeezed lemonade, worn lipstick, peacock feathers and cracked pistachio and blended around 4 corners.

And the magic began when I peeled off all those covers.  I stamped the super adorable lamb at the center and colored her in with copic marker.  For sentiment, I cut black card stock with Flag Banner dies and white heat embossed it onto black card stock.

Last finishing touch, I added Stitched Number dies onto white card stock at put them on each corner to emphasis the word "Counting Down"

I hope you like it and get creative to use your stencils in different way.

Thank you for stopping.

Hugs,
Jan
